In art, the children have been exploring more Indian inspired patterns experimenting with a variety of Paisley leaf and lotus flower patterns.
In literacy we’ve been learning the features of effective speech writing such as having a clear purpose, using rhetorical questions and addressing the audience whilst provoking an emotional response.
We imagined we were Ruby from our story and had to write a speech persuading her family members.
