It’s been exciting to see what has happened to the beans we planted just over a week ago!

It’s a good idea to ‘harden off’ your bean plant if you want to plant it outside so it can acclimatise. You can do this by putting the pot in a sheltered outdoor spot during the day and bringing it in at night for 1-2 weeks.

The biodegradable pots can be planted straight into soil or in a container – remember to give them a good watering first to encourage the paper to break down. You might like to add bamboo poles or something similar to support the plant as it grows. Bean plants like a sunny or partly sunny spot!

Can you tell someone at home what your plant needs to grow healthy and strong? 🌱☀️💧
