We had a wonderful time exploring our local area in search of wildflowers with Miles King from People Need Nature yesterday. Miles told us about many of the plants and flowers that are growing on the Great Field and showed us the area where we will be planting the cowslip seeds that we’re going to propagate in school.
The children loved climbing the ramparts at Poundbury Hillfort, spotting butterflies and looking out over the fields and meadows surrounding Dorchester.
We’re so lucky to have this beautiful area right on our doorstep!
