We have had a lovely day finding out all about King Charles III Coronation tomorrow. We have found out about what happens at the Coronation Ceremony in London and all the different important items that will be there.

We also were really lucky to see some historic aircraft’s fly over the school this afternoon. We saw a WWII Swordfish (the only flying example of this type in the world), a MkXVII Seafire (again, the only flying example of this aircraft type in the world) and a Westland Wasp (a veteran of the Falklands conflict) and we made sure we gave them a super Damers wave from below!

This afternoon, we made our very own nature crowns with items that we had brought in from home and that we found outside on the school field. We spoke about how the environment and nature are really important to King Charles. We also shared some of our lovely crowns that we had designed and made at home, these are now on display for everyone to see in the heart space.

I hope you all have a lovely bank holiday weekend, see you all on Tuesday 9th May. Miss Mansell.
